Linda Mejia has over 30 years of experience in civil service with a background in public social services and public safety. She has worked across Southern California in several roles including an eligibility worker, planning and city development specialist, and Code Enforcement Supervisor. During her career, she served on the Board of Directors for the California Association of Code Enforcement Officers in various capacities for over 25 years, and she was the recipient of the Statewide Code Enforcement Officer of the Year Award in 2010.
Her life’s journey has opened many doors, including over 2 decades of volunteering for non-profit organizations, including the SW Riverside County Trauma Intervention Program, the Southern California Police Chaplains Association, and founding Board Member of Jacob’s House (a healthcare hospitality house), where she served as a volunteer for 6 years as the Board Secretary. During her years with them, she obtained her Certification from the Healthcare Hospitality Network and achieved the title of Certified House Professional.
Linda loves working with people and claims it as one of her greatest gifts in life. Seven years ago, she obtained her real estate license because of the nexus it has to her work in public service. She has joined the First Team Real Estate office in Temecula and is excited to help her friends, family, and community members find their dream home in her next venture as a First Team Real Estate agent.
