Pooja Lakhia is a successful marketing professional with a heartfelt passion for finding growing families their dream homes while exceeding their expectations. Prior to her career in real estate, she had an eight year marketing career, spent mostly in management positions, where she combined her extensive IT background and marketing skills to fulfill the increasing needs of tech companies for marketing approaches. Excited to pursue new horizons filled with new challenges and opportunities, she has made the transition to the Southern California real estate market, with a desire to help singles, couples, and families attain their real estate goals. The opportunity to continuously meet new people, share their dreams, as well as a small part of their lives, is one of the many things Pooja loves about her new career.
Pooja is a member of the National Association of Professional Women, with a strong interest in mentoring women in non-traditional fields. Additionally, she has a Masters of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Fullerton and continues to have a long-held interest in technology fields.
An avid tennis player, she has competed on the state and national level, winning bronze (singles) and gold (team) medals, and has played in the International Tennis Federation. Reflecting her passion for both the community and sport, she is also a tennis coach. In addition to being a fitness enthusiast, she is a mother to two young boys, aged two-and-a-half and one years old.
Pooja was inspired to make a career change due to her own first-time home buying experience. With her detail-oriented approach, along with the realization that real estate is increasingly dependent on both the internet and information technologies in general, she knew this was the best decision for her. With a focus on the residential market, she strives to meet the needs of both buyers and sellers. As a relatively new parent herself, she is particularly attuned to the needs of families who are looking for homes that will suit their changing requirements for many years.
Pooja believes strongly in living life to the fullest, meeting and exceeding goals, and giving each and every one of her clients the benefit of her passion and drive for excellence.
